Updates from Sailing Committee
Class Captain Updates - Open Events for Solos, ILCAs and Juniors have been arranged and dates are in the Club Calendar
Race Office - This has been cleared out and cleaned by volunteers, there is still some more work to do, but there has been a great improvement. The large flags have been washed and are ready for the new season.
Key Dates for Feb / March:
- Sat 28th Feb - ILCA / Solo Training
- Sun 1st March - Working party including club boats
- Mon 2nd March - rearranged Instructor Updating
- Thu 5th March - Safety Boat Training (Theory Session)
- Sat 7th March - Safety Boat Practical Session (sign up online)
- Sun 8th March - Works party and DI pre assessment
- 14-15th March - L1/L2 Course
Sailing Calendar: Is now online for the new season
Training Programme: 5 new Powerboat Level 2 students were trained in Feb. The training programme is full with opportunities for sailors at all levels.
Duties Officer: We are looking for someone us as the Duties Officer, if you would like to find out more, speak to Ali or Adam.
Berthing: Stickers will be available in April 2026 to help identify unpaid berths and fee up spaces for new members.
