Sailing Committee June Update

Wednesday Night Racing: It has been great to see so many boats out racing on Wednesday nights, including new members and Junior sailors.

Sailing Programme: There have been a couple of amendments to this on 22nd June / 13th July due to not being able to get a RO for one of the specialist Trophy Days, please see the calendar online. Events : Elton Sailing Club. Battle of the Classes is now on Sun 13th July.

Qualifications: All members are encouraged to add their qualifications to SCM, this can be done through the Portal when you log in to the website.

Training Courses: The uptake for Improver sessions is increasing with 6 booked on the last session on Starting. We had 9 sailors completed their Level 1 in May, the Thursday evening course is continuing, the next Level 1 course is on 28-29 June. There is a Level 2 and Start Racing Course scheduled for over the summer, all these can be booked online Elton Sailing Club

24 Hour Race: A team has been entered for this, Geoff M is coordinating this and sailors & volunteers can sign up on line: Elton Sailing Club
