Elton Solo Open Saturday 22 August
We are delighted to host the next round of the Solo Northern Series, with the first race starting at 11am.
We would love to see a strong Elton fleet on the start line, so if you sail a Solo, come and represent your club and enjoy a great day of racing against our visitors.
The galley will be open throughout the day. Please note that the water will be closed to all other activities during the event.
NW Senior Travellers Tuesday 22 September
The final event of this years North West Senior Traveller Series comes to Elton in September.
There will be three races, beginning at 11am, and we hope plenty of members will join us on and off the water to support the event and give our visiting sailors a warm Elton welcome.
Elton ILCA Open Saturday 26 September
Our ILCA fleet takes centre stage as Elton hosts another full day of open racing.
Save the date, prepare your boat and keep an eye on the website for further event information. The water will be closed to other activities during the Open.
Club Sailing
Wednesday Evening Pursuit Racing
The Autumn Pursuit Series continues until Wednesday 9 September, giving us a few more opportunities to enjoy evening racing before the nights begin to draw in.
The Topper start is at 6.40pm, with racing finishing at 8pm. On 2 and 9 September, the earlier finish time will be 7.45pm.
Whether you are competing for the series or simply fancy an evening on the water, come down and join the fleet.
Junior and Social Sailing
Our junior and social sailing evenings will continue while the light allows.
These sessions are a brilliant opportunity to practise, build confidence and enjoy relaxed time on the water with other members. Make the most of the remaining summer evenings and come sailing with us.
Saturday Social Sailing
Social Sailing continues every Saturday from 12pm until 4pm throughout August and September.
Whether you are newly qualified, returning to sailing or simply want a relaxed afternoon afloat, these sessions are there to help you get on the water and enjoy your club.
There will be no Social Sailing on Saturday 22 August or Saturday 26 September, when the water will be closed for our Open events.
Sunday Racing and Prizegiving
Our regular Sunday racing continues, with the Late Summer Handicap reaching its final day on Sunday 30 August.
Join us for the last races of the series and stay to celebrate this seasons sailors at the prizegiving afterwards.
There is something happening on the water almost every week, so get the dates in your diary, prepare your boat and come and be part of it. The more members who join in, race, volunteer or support from the shore, the better the atmosphere will be!
