Club WhatsApp Community Update

Our club WhatsApp community is still very new but its been a great way for the Club  and members to interact and stay connected! Great to see some fantastic interaction in the groups, with members arranging buddy sailing sessions outside of normal club sailing....

We're expanding our WhatsApp community over the coming weeks, including a 'Duty Swaps' group to help members coordinate duties more easily. We've also recently added a New Members Q&A group—perfect for anyone with questions about getting started at the club!

The New Members Q&A group includes members from both the Council and Committee, so any queries about club life can be answered quickly and easily. 

The duty swaps group is not to replace the normal route of using the members portal to arrange your duty dates, but we understand that plans may change and you may find yourself unable to complete a duty you were previously available for. To help keep club activities running smoothly, this group will be available from end of March.

First, check the club member portal to arrange a swap with another member.
If its last minute, post in the club WhatsApp community, and we'll do our best to help find a replacement. Our new Duty Swaps WhatsApp group makes it even easier—just drop a message when needed!
